ACTORS' REELS
So you're a new actor and you need a reel. Let us repeat some good advice at the outset: Don't use our services until you have secured some good head shots (and please spend as much as you need to get great head shots – don't skimp on your head shots because you'll be throwing your money away).
After you've got your head shots and want a demo reel but don't have enough on-camera footage of yourself to make one, we can help. We'll spend a full day with you getting various shots and scenes and then incorporate those shots into your reel.
The following pricing is based upon the following factors:
- consultation with the actor in relation to his or her goals;
- outlining of shots and scenes to be included;
- location filming within the "Greater Vancouver Tax Zone" (think Greater Vancouver);
- up to one day filming in various locations within the "zone";
- edit of material into "rough cut" in accordance with the agreed goals of the actor;
- inclusion of fully licenced music tracks;
- conference with the actor for approval of rough cut of materials; and
- final edit, rendering and delivery of deliverables to the artist(s) (one rendered reel up to four minutes in length).
Based on the foregoing, our charge for delivery of one reel (exclusive of applicable federal or provincial taxes) is $950.
Why so cheap? Because we love new talent and want to help you meet your goals. We're pretty much just covering our expenses by charging what we do. But that's OK. When you become a "star", we'll be able to tell all our friends that "we knew you when".
